From 28 to 30 May 2026, the Faculty of Arts of the Technical University of Košice (TUKE) opened its premises to the public as part of the Open Days 2026 event. The event was officially opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Assoc. Prof. Richard Kitta, M.A., Eng., ArtD., with the participation of the faculty management, department representatives, and secondary school students.

Visitors had the opportunity to learn about the study programmes and visit the studios of the Department of Architecture, the Department of Design, and the Department of Fine Arts and Intermedia. During the event, they met faculty students and lecturers and were able to explore more than 250 presentations of semester projects and final artistic works.

The Open Days 2026 programme also included a large-scale exhibition of bachelor’s and master’s thesis projects from the Department of Architecture, held at the Alfa Gallery in Kasárne/Kulturpark. The exhibition showcased current architectural designs, visions, and solutions created by students of the Faculty of Arts, TUKE.

The Open Days and the architecture exhibition were also part of the Open Studios Košice 2026 programme. Once again, the Faculty of Arts, TUKE presented its creative atmosphere and demonstrated the potential of the emerging generation of artists, designers, and architects.
