TYPOZONE /6/ Typobiomimetics
Typography Biennale, Eger, Hungary – Looking back on the unique atmosphere of the exhibition opening. The international exhibition featured typographic works (about 170 posters and animations) of students and lecturers from 12 universities providing graphic design education (Hungary, Czechia, Poland, Slovakia, Romania, USA). The exhibition also showcased posters and animations by students and pedagogues of the Visual Communication Studio at the Department of Design, Faculty of Arts, Technical University of Košice (TUKE).

On May 14, during the opening of the Typography Biennial, the Tipozóna Hungarian Typography Award was presented in both teacher and student categories. We are pleased to share the success of the lecturer Eva Jenčuráková, Vice-Dean for International and Public Relations of the TUKE Faculty of Arts, and lecturer of the Visual Communication Studio, who was granted the award in the teacher category. In the student category, the award was presented to Liza Birizdó, a student of the Faculty of Arts at Széchenyi University, Hungary.
