TYPOZONE 6 TYPOBIOMIMETICS AND TECHNOMORPHISM International Design Conference
The Media and Design Institute, together with the Department of Visual Education and Art Theory at the Faculty of Visual Arts and Music at Eszterházy Károly Catholic University, held the conference titled Typobiomimetics and Technomorphism. The event was conducted in English in the morning session and in Hungarian in the afternoon.
The conference was held in conjunction with the TYPOZONE Biennial and provided context through presentations by experts in the field. Juxtaposing biomimetic and technomorphic approaches also provides an opportunity to examine how different yet corresponding models of nature and technology can contribute to the future development of typography and design in a broader sense. Among the speakers in the morning session were also the pedagogues of the Visual Communication Studio prof. Marian Oslislo a Mgr. art. Eva Jenčuráková, ArtD.
