Rudo Sikora’s artistic archive within Hidden Heritage Project / FU TUKE
Messages
The team from the Faculty of Arts at TUKE is conducting research into the studio and archival legacy of Rudolf Sikora – an important figure of Slovak neo-avant-garde – within the international project Hidden Heritage – Artists’ Studios Online, supported by the International Visegrad Fund. The research is conducted under the leadership of curator and artist Richard Kitta in collaboration with theorists Katarína Bajcurová and Tomáš Marušiak. It focuses on the significance of Sikora’s artistic strategies in the context of conceptual art, ecological and cosmological thinking, in synergy with cultural, social, and political directions set against the backdrop of humanism and the future of civilization. Online outcomes, archival materials, and documentation, will be published on the Forgotten Heritage platform: https://www.forgottenheritage.eu/artists
